Akwaaba-Welcome!<\/h2>\n

We are the National Governing Body for Badminton in Ghana, representing every member of the Badminton Community in Ghana.
\nEstablished in Ghana in 1962 as the Ghana Badminton Federation, we carry out several governmental and international functions within the national sport, including overseeing the safety and welfare of all members, technical and development programmes, enforcing rules and regulations of the sport, and being responsible for the national teams, providing a talent pathway to everyone who wants to get involved, regardless of age, ability, or gender.<\/p>\n

We want Badminton enthusiasts of all backgrounds and abilities to have the opportunity to fulfil their Badminton potential and have bold ambitions for equality, diversity and inclusion. Guided by an Executive Leadership Team, our team operate nationwide, supported by regional boards of volunteers across the 16 administrative regions of Ghana. Our Strategic Mission 2027 Plan, along with government and development partners, we are continuously creating a well-governed, compliant sport that is valued in every community and accessible in every school, district, and university and inspiring the wider Ghanaian population to be engaged in the advantages of Badminton as a total body workout and the fastest racket sport in the world.<\/p>\n
