
Benjamin Baah Konadu is a Neuroscience PhD student in the Neurobiology program at Georgetown University with a multidisciplinary background bridging neuroscience, optometry, ophthalmology, vision science and public health. He holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and is an honorary student fellow with the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). Benjamin, in recent years,s has been involved in public health research and initiatives, providing an interdisciplinary foundation for his current neuroscience research. He leverages expertise in cellular and molecular neurobiology, clinical optometry, in vivo imaging, and proteomics to investigate neural plasticity and has contributed to and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed research publications. In this role as Events Director, he oversaw and coordinated major tournaments and competitions across Ghana. Konadu himself has directed flagship events where he was the Tournament Director and, in some instances, on-court referee for the National and local Badminton Championships, where he brings professional coordination to all aspects of event logistics and media relations to ensure that every competition is managed to the highest standards.
