The 2026 schedule is strategically packed with national training initiatives, crucial workshops, prestigious championships, and significant African continental events, positioning Ghana as a central hub for badminton development in West Africa. A Foundation of Excellence: Training and Officiating The year kicks off with an intensive National Training Camp in Borteyman, running from January 15th to February 7th. This extended camp is designed to sharpen the skills of the nation’s top shuttlers, ensuring they are in peak condition for the demanding competitive season ahead. Complementing athlete development is a strong emphasis on building institutional capacity. A Medical & Communication Workshop on January 30th at the Accra Sports Stadium will equip team medical staff and communication personnel with advanced knowledge.
