About the Ghana Badminton Coach Licence scheme
Beginning in 2024, the Ghana Badminton Coach Licence Scheme is to be implemented to register more than 100 coaches that we are confident are active and knowledgeable in current coaching methods. They hold an up to date qualification and a clear framework. It aims to establish a kite mark for the coaching of Badminton in Ghana and to support the professional development of active coaches.
- All coaches registered on the Coach Licence Scheme receive up to GHC1 Million Public Liability insurance. In addition, they benefit as well as benefiting from discounts and offers exclusive to our coaches.
- Any newly qualified coach will receive a complimentary Ghana Badminton Coach Licence until the next renewal period.
- A Coach Licence can be purchased for one year or a three-year cycle, at which point it will need to be renewed.
- Coaches have the opportunity to purchase a one year licence at a cost of GHC 300 or a three year licence at a cost of GHC800 (GHC 800 total for 3 years).
