Renewing Individual Membership
Ghana Badminton membership expire annually on 31st December. We highly recommend that individuals renew their membership ahead of the season to ensure they remain covered under our insurance and continue to access all membership benefits.
Below, you will find all the necessary information to be able to purchase your individual membership on Badminton along with other important information related to your membership.
1. What to know before purchasing your individual membership
Welcome to the 2025-26 Ghana Badminton Membership Season All individual memberships expire annually on 31st December. We strongly encourage you to renew your membership ahead of the new season to ensure continuous access to your benefits, including essential personal accident and liability insurance. Below, you will find all the information you need to renew or purchase your membership through the Ghana Badminton portal termining your member in good standing
For Players (Recreational & Professionals)
- Your membership must correspond to the highest-level competition you will participate in (e.g., National Championships, Sanctioned tournaments, Leagues, Schools & Universities Circuit).
- Junior Player Membership Applicants must be under 19 years of age as of 31st December 2026
For Coaches & Technical Officials
- You must hold a valid Ghana Badminton Association (or internationally recognized) coaching or technical official qualification.
- Coaches are encouraged to upload relevant safety & Safeguarding certificates to their member profile.
2. Process to purchase/renew your individual membership
How to Renew or Purchase Your Membership
1. Renew an Existing Membership
- Log in to your Ghana Badminton member account.
- Navigate to the ‘My Membership’ section and follow the prompts to renew for the 2026-27 season before February 28th Deadline.
2. Purchase a New Membership
- With a Club: Your club secretary can assist you in being registered through the national portal.
- With a Club: Your club secretary can assist you in being registered through the national portal.
3. Add a Membership Category
- If you need an additional role (e.g., a Coach who is also a Technical Official), you can add it through your member account after your primary renewal is complete.
