George Loh is a distinguished legal practitioner and public servant with over twenty years of comprehensive experience in law, governance, national security, and legislative affairs. He currently serves as the Director, Legal, National Security for the Government of Ghana, providing critical legal oversight within the national security architecture and government.
Before his current national role, George served as the Member of Parliament for North Dayi Constituency in the Volta Region (2013–2017), where he made significant legislative contributions. During his tenure in the 6th Parliament, he was appointed Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Committee and also served as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
A longstanding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he has held prominent party leadership positions, including Volta Regional Vice Chairman and Deputy Director of Legal Affairs. He is widely respected for his advocacy on parliamentary rights, legislative reforms, and strategic legal guidance during election periods.
Outside of public service, George maintains his legal practice as a Partner at BCM Consulting, Oak House, and Wuuda in Accra, specialising in litigation and advisory services.
He holds an LLB from the University of Ghana, a Barrister-at-Law (BL) qualification from the Ghana School of Law, and a Master’s in National Security Law. Deeply rooted in his community, he is an active member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and hails from Anfoega in the Volta Region, where he remains committed to grassroots development, youth empowerment, and equitable governance in Ghana.
