Jessica Lomotey is a national athlete and sports professional with experience spanning competitive performance, sports event management, technical operations, and coaching within the badminton ecosystem.
She currently serves as an Events Officer with the federation, where she supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of badminton competitions, tournaments, and related sporting events. In this role, she contributes to event logistics, scheduling, coordination of officials, and the effective use of tournament management software to ensure smooth and professional event execution.
Jessica is a decorated national athlete, having won medals at competitive events, and has played key roles in directing international schools games, demonstrating strong organisational and leadership capacity in multi-stakeholder sporting environments.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies from the University of Ghana, bringing valuable strengths in information management, data systems, and digital tools that support efficient sports administration and event operations.
In addition to her administrative and technical responsibilities, Jessica served as Coach of the Para-Badminton Team at the West Africa Zone II Games in Abeokuta, Nigeria, reflecting her commitment to inclusive sport, athlete development, and high-performance support for para-athletes.
