Ghana Badminton exists to create outstanding and exciting opportunities for everyone to enjoy and achieve in badminton.

Our Vision

To make everybody in Ghana talk about badminton by 2032.

Our Strategic Pillars: The 4Ps

We are building a sustainable badminton ecosystem through:

Participation

Increase regular adult players to 8.2 million by 2032, including 1180 disabled participants. Introduce badminton in 500+ schools and establish community hubs in all 16 regions BY 2032

Places

Ensure 80% of players have a club or league within a 60-minute drive. Launch a National Premier League, a schools league, and a veterans league. Every School will be playing and participating badminton by 2036.

People

Double licensed coaches to 640+ and technical officials to 432. Enforce "No License, No Coaching" from January 2026. Maintain world top 50, Africa top 3 seniors, and Africa's #1 juniors. Qualify 1 athlete for LA28.

Performance

Rank in world top 50, remain top 3 in Africa in Seniors Category, keep remaining at the Top of Africa in the Junior Category. qualify 1 athletes for LA 2028 Olympics, and reach the Commonwealth Games podium by 2032.
