Badminton Team Shines at World Championships

The Ghana Badminton Federation proudly celebrates our junior team’s outstanding performance at the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025, with 48 Countries in attendance, where our young shuttlers demonstrated exceptional skill and determination on the global stage.
In the mixed team relay event, Team Ghana delivered a spirited campaign, securing crucial victories against higher-ranked opponents and advancing further than in previous editions, showcasing remarkable growth in our developmental program.



The individual events saw even greater success, with two of our athletes reaching the quarterfinals in their respective categories—a historic achievement that marks Ghana’s strongest showing at this prestigious tournament to date.
These impressive results not only highlight the effectiveness of our intensified training initiatives and youth development pathway but also signal a promising future for Ghanaian badminton as these talented juniors continue to mature and elevate our nation’s standing in international competitions.
